5-12-2003 tour to UK set for next year
hey you rockers out there there have bin some problems with venues in the UK a lot of them can only get there license next year so allot told us to come in February or march we still had 5 gigs left but because lex is having big personal problems (not with the band)and his head doesn't think about touring we had to set them for next year..we have some gigs for January in Holland they can be found at the tour page

hey you rockers out there good news floodstain is going to the u.k and are busy  on a tour in Sweden. Things are looking pretty fine.

keep watching for u.k dates . there are also new pics on line from broekrock yeah we rocked our pants off.

I even trashed my beloved fernandez  guitar but ill fix it and bought a new  guitar anyway...rock on

hey yeah sorry the site was down because off some little problems with software and server !  but its back and improved.

there are a llot of things happening but ill keep you informed. Another error made the recordings of the last radio sessions faill..

so we dont have any material for you to down load. But there will be live recordings at the arsenaal to, and they will be released

so be pactien..we have a few bin working on some new songs with titles like : chasing ghosts,take a ride,slingshot,forever ever at last,  

and of course the other new songs that are not released yet ...Soon you will know it all...but keep supporting us!!! for now hail to the king baby!!

hey how are ya doing its gettin colder and we are gettin older hahaa but where are still rockin on!!

last gig was a disaster because the backline was so crapy and these amps, god" they couldnt even go louder than my fucking vocals!!!

they made some footage of that evening !? you can see us gettin pist off and end up like a couple of trashing monkeys whaa maby.. we are goining to make a videoclip from it ?

hey this is out of our power the gig was canceled because the heating systems where broken. But tell me? When you go to see a rock band and your jumping around ? do you think he lets put on the heating!! its cold man !! hahaha crap!!

well the gig is being moved to January .. but I really think it is shit we really wanted to play..!!

1-7-2003  last minute blast off to the gooth ridderkerk
he hello it me Jozz fernandez , i had a great weekend  because when i came home from work and just a second before i could put my ass on the counch the phone rang and this guy says : you wanne play tonight and we said sure !! and it was a blast  as you will see at the new pictures and we made some promo pics...... have fun rock on ! ! thanx to weijand sound,and thanx to denise for cruisin me to the gig and for taking pics .

he hello it s me JoZz yesterday we played in tex mex the finals of de grote prijs van voorneputten

the gig was ok and we have won a second place .wel fuck it i had a great time

There's  happened a lot of stuff since the last time I spoke to you. Our drummer wouter quit the band after he did the last gig in schiedam  the main reason was that he got to busy with everything. His house his girlfriend, and work and hadn't got enough time to do a lot of gigs. we where both  shocked by this event because we just sign a contract for more gigs and weren't going to cancel them no way!! But he didn't stop playing he went back to his old pals inferno where as he said ambitions and expectations aren't so high as within floodstain well good luck..

So we asked if our old friend and old member of the band jory could come back and fill the drum stool  again

And he wanted to play again so he rejoined rex and me we practiced  8 nights long to learn him the songs

He already knew some of it and the old stuff he had played on him self so that wasn't so hard.

We played a gig with him in Amsterdam it was full of people, but the split up still made us fucking frustrated so we ended up trashing everything almost it was fun.

Later we practiced more and more and played a gig in waterfront it was fully loaded with people but I felt very sick but jordy played as fuckin loud as hell. it was a great gig and you can see pics of it on the band live section

The next day we played in the mach hellevoetsluis where some claim that I sang the best the ever seen well I don't know..

Where almost finished with the new song starving with your mouth full hope ya like it I want to thank the fans that stick to us and support us you make it worth for me to be proud about myself sometimes thanx

2-4 -2003 LAST MINUTE TRAVEL BLUES
halo its me joZz its me joZz and IM pretty tired from today, today we played in the doelen Rotterdam acoustic it was nice, and we have it al on tape.

but last Friday when we didn't suspect anything, we got called up by city gigsbookings,and asked us if we would like to play instead of tail dragger

so we said okay rented a bus and hit the road  to amersfoort it was a cool gig plenty of people..the next day we woke up took the van and hit the road again

and head for. a place called de gouden leeuw somewhere in dongen noord brabant. i really enjoyed that small weekend tour and the last gig was fantastic

iv got some examples on the merchandise page...and i hope to shoot new promo pics soon. we got alot of material but it all on cam..

where busy buying our own buZZ so we can go every fucking dam weekend.....laterZz Jozz

hallo its me joZz here is an update iv change the site, so i hope some motherfuckers now shutup!!! And there is a picture from me and Rex in Germany, the day before we went to the musik messe in Frankfurt, we slept in a hotel in idstein the most boring place on earth.but we had fun. Walking trough the mountains.

on the musik messe we saw almost a million different guitars and effects it was great!!.but still allot of them where crap.

we met some artists. And we saw mister Jim Marshall in person we had a great time.... but we didn't see much cool artists

the gigs where great al our friends showed up to party all night long fuck yea. We got a new  song called wake up call and its a bit poppy but it rocks at the end so

who cares.. we  think the new album will be recorded around the summer, but we still need to figure out some deals and contracts or els IL end up being a beggar or something .. music is my life so don't fuck up mine..the aucoestic tour is running great  the first morning we played for around 300 teens im in high school again as Mr. cobain would say..and 2 April we play in the doelen Rotterdam that place is so fuckinn huge so i will probably wet my pants see ya soon JoZz

OLD BIOGRAPHY 2003

We found a very old biography! Written somewhere in 2001/2002 or maybe 2003... 

Inspired by 70's and with the furry of the 90's Boy Overheid (a.k.a. Jozz Fernandez) started the band Floodstain with his brother Jordy Overheid (a.k.a. Spitfire) on drums and Stefan Nederpelt on bass.

With these inspirations we noticed that people gave us the label stonerock or desert rock but because we listened to bands as 

• Fu Manchu
• Nebula
• Queens of the stoneage
• Kyuss
• 7zuma7
• Spoiler
• Led Zeppelin
• Deep Purple
• The Who
• The Kinks 
• Lowrider 
• and more that label was normal.

But Stefan left and went on with his other band "Pirates and Pitlizards" or something (playing freak rock)

But no fear, Rex Wrench was here to save the day! The new bass player is Alex van de Tang and he rocks! So, complete again we hit the road again, head in to your town!

Later after we had some problems with our drummer (the green took over his live and his wife), we decided that he could better get out, and took Hitman Wouter under our wings, whom stopped with his former unknown band Inferno.

People say our live shows are raw, intense, and over the top, "something we didn't see for a longtime".... with things like burning guitars, spitting water, jumping trashing, you name it, and we name it Rock n roll..

where almost done with all the new songs and decided that where going to record the album in the void with producer mixer pidah kloos (pieter kloos)

but first where going to record al the songs and unreleased tracks or B-sides raw and live to send to labels so the can figure out that we sound good without al those   fancy studio tricks. But you'll get more info on that. Greetings JoZz FernandeZ

Here s a word or 2 from Tracy fire,the new man since late September 2002 to beat the skins inside and outside the floodstain fold.My real name is wouter v/d Geer, 22 years of age. About that age of 9 i started playing drums on advice of my mother, who didn t

want to see the whole house beaten to pulp by an angry young man like me! I entered a metal band named inferno when i was just 16 en recorded two cds.

to get a copie.But Summer 2002 things didn t feel right anymore, and that's where Floodstain comes in the asked me to join the band and things went up hill since then
